Paradiso — Amsterdam's Iconic Music Venue

Paradiso opened in 1968 in a converted nineteenth-century church on Weteringschans, close to the Leidseplein in central Amsterdam. It was established during the counterculture era — initially as a gathering space for the Provo movement — and rapidly became one of Europe's most important concert halls.
