In the early 1960s, Bob Dylan jammed here with the blues group Koerner, Ray and Glover, soaking up the folk and blues scene that was thriving in the Cedar-Riverside neighbourhood. Esquire named it one of the best bars in America in 2014.
Palmer's Bar is at 500 Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis. It is still open and still a great dive bar. Live music continues to feature regularly.
