Gray's Campus Drug — Dylan's Room, Dinkytown

Starting in the winter of 1960, Bob Dylan rented a second-floor room above Gray's Campus Drug at 327 14th Avenue SE in Dinkytown. He was a student at the University of Minnesota at the time, though by most accounts he spent more time playing folk music in coffee houses than attending lectures. The room above the drugstore was his base during a formative period.
