Braman Music — Hibbing, Minnesota

Braman Music on East Howard Street in Hibbing was where the teenage Robert Zimmerman took guitar lessons. It was one of the first places he began to seriously develop as a musician, learning the instrument that would carry some of the most important songs of the twentieth century.

The building still stands at 208 East Howard Street but is now Ohana Therapeutic Massage. The original music shop is gone, but the address remains a stop on Hibbing's Dylan walking trail.
