Get DirectionsBob Marley purchased 56 Hope Road in 1975 and lived there until his death in 1981. In 1987, Rita Marley converted the property into a museum.
The museum houses personal memorabilia, a photographic gallery, an 80-seat theatre, a record shop, and the One Love Café. Tours of the home are available, as well as a separate tour of the Tuff Gong recording studio.
