Between 1974 and 1978 AC/DC recorded some of their most iconic early albums at Albert Studios in the heart of Sydney's financial district. The albums produced there were recorded by Angus and Malcolm Young's older brother George Young. Now not even a plaque sits in it's place.
The band recorded on level 5 of the Boomerang building on King Street. You really have to go deep into your imagination to feel the significance of this location.
It's an important pilgrimage spot for AC/DC fans. Songs like "Ain’t No Fun (Waiting ’Round to Be a Millionaire)" hit a little different given the context of a shirtless Bon Scott wandering through a crowd of suited Sydney financieers about to change rock n' roll history.
